Methodology and editorial standards

Research-informed leadership development grounded in evidence-based principles, held to transparent editorial rules.

Sources checked against Crossref DOI records on 5 November 2026. Editor: Dr. Patrick D. Fagan, PhD, MBA.

Verified sources only
Every citation is checked against its DOI registration record (author, title, journal, year, volume and pages) before inclusion. We do not cite sources we could not verify.
Screening signals are not proof
Citation-context classifications (for example, Scite's supporting or contrasting labels) only prompt closer reading. Strength of evidence is described by study design, alongside limitations.
Paraphrase, not invention
Findings are summarized qualitatively in our own words. We do not report effect sizes or statistics we have not reproduced from the original article, and readers are directed to the original via DOI.
Limitations stated
Every summary lists the study's design and limits, including sample, setting and whether results are correlational.
Three clearly separated layers
Research findings (what a study reported), practice principles (our editorial translation) and exercises (original fictional practice) are labeled separately. Exercises are research-informed, not tested by the cited studies.
Conceptual mapping
Links between studies and H.U.M.A.N. dimensions are editorial interpretations. No study cited here evaluated the H.U.M.A.N. framework.
No validation claims
The framework, reflection and exercises have not been psychometrically validated and have no demonstrated efficacy. They are for personal development, never hiring, promotion, ranking or diagnosis.
No fabricated endorsements
We list no quoted praise, partner logos or expert endorsements unless they are real and approved.
Privacy by default
Practice choices and Transfer plans stay in your browser. Saving on your device is optional and removable. Analytics, where enabled, records only page-level button clicks, never what you write or choose.
Corrections
Sources are re-checked when content changes. Report an error through the site's contact options and we will review and correct it.

For the framework's broader research basis, see Research & Methodology.
