Use a leadership lab with your group.
A suggested 55-minute session. The timing is a facilitation suggestion, not a requirement or a tested outcome.
Step 1 · 5 minutes
Introduce the purpose
Explain that this is developmental practice, not an evaluation. Sharing is voluntary, and nobody needs to show their screen or answers.
Step 2 · 35 minutes
Individual work
Each person works through one scenario on their own device, at their own pace.
Step 3 · 10 minutes
Discussion
Talk about decision rationale, the information still needed, the people affected and the follow-up each choice requires.
Step 4 · 5 minutes
Choose a next action
Each participant picks one action to try in the coming week. They keep it private unless they choose to share.
Choose a lab
- Educator Leadership Lab (opens in a new tab): fictional school-leadership scenarios, about 30–35 minutes each.
- Change Leadership Lab: three fictional change scenarios over six simulated weeks, with a built-in peer debrief guide at the end of each run.
- Kingsmen scenarios: optional, faith-centered practice. Its own facilitator PDF is on that page.
- H.U.M.A.N. reflection: about 5–7 minutes, then a 30/60/90-day plan.
Participants control whether to share their reflections. Do not collect answers, rank people or use the results for employment decisions.
